Town of Breckenridge Comprehensive Plan Update

The Town of Breckenridge is initiating work on an update to the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.  The Town of Breckenridge Comprehensive Plan was last updated in 2008.  The new update is intended to provide a 2025 policy perspective that sets the stage for future growth and development within the Town.  The new Plan will meet new state-mandated requirements for including a Strategic Growth Element and Water Supply Element within comprehensive plans.  A Housing Action Element is also anticipated as part of the process.

Request for Proposals

A Request for Proposals (RFP) for consultant teams to work on the Comprehensive Plan Update was released on November 21, 2025.  The deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday, December 10, 2025.  The link below provides the full RFP document:
